Okay heres my problem. I am a freshman and I really like this junior. The only problem is I've never talked to him before. His friends are intimidating, and I dont have any classes with him. He seems like a nice guy and I know he comes from a nice family. The problem is that hes really, really, good-looking, and I dont have the confidence or guts to go talk to him. And even if i did I wouldn't know what to talk about since we've never spoken before. Please help me!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You have the whole rest of the year to get to know him, so start slow enough that you can be comfortable. Just smile and say hi when you pass him. In fact, smile and say hi to everyone. He might notice that you're a friendly person and nice to everyone, and most guys think that's a good quality in a girl. Maybe after you say hi a few times, try to end up waking along side him and compliment something like his smile or the shirt he's wearing, his backpack, whatever. It's even better if you can think of a simple question to ask him. Make it an easy one because he might be nervous too! Remember, guys want to be noticed just as much as you do and they have fears of rejection too, so just take a deep breath and go for it, he might end up appreciating it.

You need to work on your confidence and self esteem. Then you will have no fears.
As for liking him, how can you like him if you don;t know him? It is safer to say you like his family and his looks but honestly you don;t know him, he could speak to you and end up being a jerk you wasted all this time thinking about.
Simply, you just need to be confident. Hold your head up high. When you see him smile and say hello! Start a casual conversation one day, how about the weather, what are your plans for christmas, can you believe it's already november........small talk.

Try to get his online addy, like on msn or yahoo messenger, and talk to him a little bit, pretend you thought it was someone else but act friendly anyway and ask how he is and things like that.. he'll most likely be friendly back unless he's not on his own. Try it out though, get a online conversation going and then it can work it's way up, worked when I done it. All you need is his addy..see if its on myspace if he's got one.
