I suggest using a waterpik it will reduce the swelling and get debris from being stuck in your mouth.

most of the time it is is your braces that cause this kind of swelling. But I think you need to check with your hygienist.
when is the last time you had an oral prphylaxis done? Tartar can lead to infection of the gums which also can be a reason for a swelling. so b4 u go and take painkillers and do waterpik flossing... do a consult to rule out infection.

your in braces and this is something that can happen when your teeth are moving. I know its hard to floss but if you get some floss threeders you can try. Warm salt water rinses are good for gums. Ask your orthodontist if he has any sugestions.

It sounds like your gums are inflamed, if you want to get rid of the inflammation, just take Advil or Ibuprofen.
