Hi,
I cannot fit all the details in here so I have included a link of my question, which is posted on a forum.
http://www.braintumorfoundation.org/forumdetails.asp?ThreadID=%3EUJ654496029
I would appreciate any help on the matter.
Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for the responses. Currently, the headache has died down a bit. The pressure is still there, but it fluctuates from being there to almost being non-existent. I also have a slight vomiting sensation.

I answered this in the other forum:
If this was a brain tumour then it would have shown up in the CT scan. It sounds like anxiety, especially since it calmed down after your doing some relaxation techniques. Now that you've gone to college, you've probably got some pressure on again with the studying. Please find ways to calm yourself down. You can use natural remedies such as St John's Wort and Bach's rescue remedy. When you feel it again, put a few drops of Bach's under your tongue. Also, do some breathing exercises. Take big deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth. When you breathe in think of calm, when you breathe out, you are letting stress out. Stay cool 8)

Have you been through the diognoises thing yet. That wasn't clear in your question. My husband has 2 brain tumors, found over a yr. ago. He is older. They took the swelling down with steroids. The swelling had caused stroke like sym. The swelling left him with brain damage. They didn't think he would live more then 6 mos. Over a yr. now & he is still able to get around, do things out side. His short term memory is gone a great deal. Not sick & physical he is quite strong. I hopee they can find treatments that ease your discomfort. A subject so foreign to my I had a hard time getting information. Frustrating isn't it. I wish you good luck. Take care.

I had some of those symptoms before (read your threadt there) and it turned out the only thing--only thing!--wrong was severe sinus infection and fever, plus my allergies acting up. They did a CT scan coz I'd passed out for a moment at home and had a huge bump/knot on my face so they thought I got hit or something but I didn't. They also went ahead and checked for stroke, among other things, coz of what a severe allergic reaction had done to me earlier in the year, but nothing showed up except that sinus thing.
I guess if your doctor sees NOTHING on the CT scan but gives you anxiety medicine, it is for your own good to try to reduce your anxiety. Also, are you seeing a psychiatrist? Did you know they can look at a scan and see if you might have bipolar disorder or schizophrenia...? It's pretty nifty. Anyways. I think your doctor probably knows what's going on with you to some extent and you should just try to relax and not worry about tumors you don't have.

my son had 2 brain tumors and his very first symptom was right arm weakness , of course things did progress . brain tumors usally cause headaches , nausea , vomiting ,dizziness , one arm weakness ,or one side of the body weakness , speech problems , losing your balance . it does also depend on the tumor location. a brain tumor will show up on cat scans or a mri . if you had a ct scan and they found nothing then you dont have a brain tumor , if you still continue having problems i would suggest you talk to your parents and your doctor, there are numerous things that can cause your symptoms . good luck to you and god bless...........

my dad had a brain tumor, and his speech was messing up his memory was going and his balance was off. Don't know too much about them personally. Usually a CT scan will show the area of damage if you have one. I will be praying for you. Good luck and God Bless!
