Get dinner started or run your shower or bath water. Let her pout.
You are the parent. So what if she is now angry. She is twelve, but now she is acting like a stubborn 2 year old who can't have his/her way. Perhaps she will see things differently next Halloween. While she will be 13---she still won't be trick or treating without parents in an unfamiliar neighborhood. She might think about all the fun she could have had the pevious year, and be willing to compromise.

I would let her as long as they are within two years of her age. Make sure she has to return by a certain time and make it clear what the punishment will be if she doesn't. Make it a very specific punishment like you will not go to any dances this year and you will not be able to go over to any friends houses. Make her sign a paper saying she understands this and her punishment and let her go. Just make sure she knows you mean business.

Well, im thirteen so i know how your daughter feels. I think the best way is to tell her, "Its either you go with me and your friends, or not go at all". If she doesn't want to go, then its her own fault since she said no. Sometimes you might feel that your mean, but its the best for your daughter's safety. If you feel bad, then let her go with her friends. Just follow behind them so they dont know if your watching them or not.

Let her be angry. When she has kids of her own she will finally get it. Your first prioity is that child and you have done the right thing. Good job - just don't give in on this.

NEGATIVE, set a presedince in this girls life and make her understand that there are really ugly things out there. You do not wish to allow her the introduction of these things. SORRY

I think I'd be very firm if I were you, and if she looks 18 make sure you make her tone down the clothing, make up , etc! Let her be angry, better than pregnant!!! Good luck.

Remember you are the parent and she is a child, so you got the say on what goes on.,And if you don't know these kids well you better tell her to forget it. Better be safe then her to be sorry.

Tell her to change her attitude or she'll stay home all night. Too bad, so sad. If she doesn't shape up and apologize for being a snot, she'll have to stay home and hand out candy to all the other kids.
