Kill it.
Hey Jon W - apostrophe "s" is for possession, as in the greenhouse gas emissions are FROM the cow, or as in Jon's intellect is less than staggering.

You would have to have a designed food system for them and most dairies are doing just that. But you will not reduce the gases much.. Now the idea is to house the cows, and collect the gas utilizing it for fuel in cooking, and automobiles. Dairies are now being designed for just that. Some are nearly self supporting a dairy on just the Methane gas as far as fuel, Manure is also being used to make fuel, Building products, and fertilizer.

Enclose your cattle in a large barn. Seal off all air to and from the barn, with the exception of a large fan blowing air into the barn. At the roof hook up vent with a hose connected. Run the hose into a filtering system to filter out only the methane. Run the methane into your heating system to run the heat for your house this winter. Easy hookup ,,,,easy solution. Ihave one for my barn

Follow around behind it/them and light their farts as they come out.
I don't know if you mean cows - as in more that one cow, or
cow's as in "cow is". For example:
"That old cow's really farting up a store today!"
or
"How can I reduce my cow is greenhouse gas emissions?"
