Wash your hair towel dry it, put setting lotion through it and then roller set your hair using small - medium sized rollers, Let your hair air dry, when completely dry take your rollers out and use your fingers to place your curls into the style that you want to achieve

Alternatively go to a salon say to the stylist that you are thinking about perming your hair to achieve curls but have been told to try a shampoo and set first to see if you like your hair curly

If you like the results get it permed if not keep on using the rollers to curl your hair whenever you feel like it.

Go to your hair stylist and ask for a curly perm. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to use hot rollers or a curling iron or the kind of curlers you sleep on, which are a pain on the head.

dude, use this real cool thing they sell at the pharmacy call a curling iron. it works when you plug it in the wall and it gets hot and you roll your super straight hair on it and it magically makes curl. ah, the wonders of this century. SO, where have you been for the past 20 years :)??? good luck on your curly sue quest. try sleeping with
rollers. ask grandma moses for her extra rollers and enjoy the 1995 justin timberlake look.

How daring! Try a perm, but don't get the really skinny rollers yet. Start with some volume, and then, if you want to, go for the skinny rollers. (wait 4-5 weeks before doing it again, read directions on the kit)

Sure. You can do a perm if you want something permanent or use curl enhancing serum for temporary (John Freida makes one).
