Antibiotics and cleaning out the area might do it. They may have to do a root canal and crown after the infection is cleared up.

Like others have said, you can get a root canal but it cause a lot of money. I know because I had to done and it cost 1200 all together 600 bucks each tooth. Also, I went to another dentist and asked if I could get a root canal for a tooth that was decayed but she told me that it would cost 1800 because I did not have insurance. I ended up get it pull for cheaper. Anyway, it all depends on the nature of your tooth and if you want to pay a large sum of money to get the root canal.

Implants are expensive and some people are just not candidates for them. There are removable bridges and permanent bridges. Removable ones are less expensive and are usually covered by insurance. Permanent ones are considered "cosmetic" and only part of the cost might be covered. Permanent ones involve capping the teeth on either side of the missing one with crowns with a fake tooth put in between. It's actually one big crown that is made to look like three teeth. Ask the dentist about which option would be better for you, tooth-wise and money wise.

No dentist will advice you to have your tooth pulled if it can be saved by root canal, etc. There is no (cheaper) alternative to your original tooth. The good one that is available today is dental implant which is expensive and should put as the last resort.

Yes there is but it is costly. A dental visit+cost of ex-ray. Antibiotics. You can get a root canal for around 700.00. Your tooth may be so decade it could fall apart during this. Now on top of that you need a crown. Crown can be from 800.00-1000.00. Search out a good dentist they will be able to help you.

Depending on what condition the tooth is in, it might be saved with a root canal. Without an x-ray, no way of us knowing. Good luck

You mean a cavity? You could get a filling, or some other dntal procedure done...like root canal, crowns, or whatever....depending on the problem you're having. I've had that problem before and with the amount of pain I was having, I welcomed them pulling it.
