People are worrying too much about the future that they don't enjoy the present. For example, they may work too much and not spend as much time with family and friends.

It's saying like;
people are so busy planing what they're going to do tomorrow, that they forget to live and enjoy today.
John Lennon quoted in one of his songs,
"Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans"
So stop, and smell the rose today, and stop worrying about if they'll still be there tomorrow
Hope this helps.

This simply means that people are so worried about what the future might bring that they are constantly working to get an easy future but are forgetting to live the present and enjoy today.

Too much work not enough play. We must enjoy the fruits of our labor while we can. The future is not promised. Enjoy each minute as it could be your last.
