If water, holding your breath, and all the other home remedies didn't work try this I saw it on Untold Stories of the ER. Press on your eyebrows and just above them.

The cause of your affliction is not known. I will provide several folk remedies that may or may not be effective.
First, is the scare out of the hiccups, this may be appreciate given the night.
Take a spoonful of sugar and hold your breath for 30 seconds.
Breathe into a paper bag for 2 minutes.

drink lots of water....try holding your breath. Also what u can do is to tell one of your friends or family to scare u out of nowhere without telling u....Usually when someone scares u by popping out of somewhere, usually makes the hiccups go away.

Your diaphram is in spasm. Lay down on your bed, on your back, allowing your head to hang over the edge. Breathe in deep and exhale. Lay there and try to relax. This is to relax the diaphram.

take a glass of water take a sip but dont swallow,,bend over then while bent over swallow . do this a few times and if that doesnt work try putting sugar on your tounge or eating some penut butter!

Hold your breath for 10 seconds..... then BEFORE letting it out drink water for 5 seconds...always works for me!!

Breathe deeply for a bit and then hold your breath! It works for me! Controlled breathing is the key!!

Take a tea spoon of sugar and put it on your tongue and let it dissolve. That will do it!
