Yes. But, it would take a while unless you had sudden blood loss and did not replace it. I lived on a hemoglobin of 5.5 for a while and slept 23 hours a day. It also caused depression. It was not fun.

Yes, anemia can kill you, but it isn't the type of condition that erupts overnight. It is usually a gradual process -- that's what makes it so difficult to diagnose. People who are anemic often think they are just tired, and don't realize there is a physical cause for their fatigue. Treatment can range from transfusions to iron pills to generally re-arranging your diet to make sure you get sufficient iron in your system from natural sources. It's something you need a doctor's help with. If you suspect you may be anemic, check with the doctor because there is no point in treating the anemia unless the underlying cause is dealt with as well.

Moderate anemia related to periods or food intake will probably not kill you but it stresses your body and will wear you out. Severe anemia, like hemoglobin of 4, can kill you if it is sudden (like caused by a GI bleed or something).
Just take your iron supplements and eat meat and green leafy vegetables.

It will lead to other health complications that could become quite serious. Take iron supplements and eat healthy. You may need a transfusion of whole blood if the condition continues

No, it can't just suddenly kill you. It would take a while of you being anemic and doing nothing about it, getting weaker and weaker.....
