I think I know what you are talking about. It is a negative thought pattern that you have slowly cultivated and now it is what streams through your head whenever you are out in public. You just need to retrain your thought pattern by consciously thinking nice thoughts about the people you come across. It may sound like I am oversimplifying, but it is not a simple thing to do. It takes time, you slip into your angry mode a lot but you will eventually stop the negative thoughts.

you probably just have anxiety problems. a little med for that or seeing a psychiatrist to the root of the problem will also help. honestly just as long as your not acting out on your thoughts its not a top notch pretty but still you should talk to someone about it.

what kind of people are you around when you get these thoughts is like a certain race, gender, nationality, sexuality, etc?

anyway dont worry about it i get these feelings sometimes myself around certain people its normal doesnt make you crazy or anything like that.

I agree with the low self esteem issues. More than likely people will like you if you will give them a chance. But you have to start somewhere. Find people with like interests and try to be friends. And about the negative thoughts when you are in public... tell them (the thoughts) to sit down and shut up, that you are in charge, that you are a nice person, you know it, and you are going to prove it to them, and then -- do it. Smile at someone, I'll bet they smile back....See, I'm smiling already...

Try counseling. You may need to talk to someone about your anger. Find the root of it and pluck it out so you can lead a happy life. Life is too short to be angry all the time.

A good therapist can help you a lot! The best thing you can do is get this out in the open, don't be embarassed or try to solve this yourself, get help!
