The thing i remember the most was i was shaking so badly. In the morning i started with a little tremor. By the time i walked up the aisle i just couldn't stop the whole of my body shaking. In the dvd that recorded us you could hear my husband saying 'stop shaking' and me replying 'i can't. I'm trying but i can't' And when the dvd gets certain shots you can see my body trembling. That is the thing i remember most.

I remember a few things...
1- the organist- she was so into playing that they had to tap her on the shoulder so the guys could walk in.
2- the ring bearers--one had his foot on the next step up and was leaning in it "chillin", if I remember the other was picking his nose and or yawning most of the time.
3- the video camera followed me up the aisle but was so bumpy, because it was on a tripod w/ wheels it looked like we were in the middle of an earthquake, then the battery died before the ceremony really started so we have none of it on film.
4- I put the ring on my hubby's right hand not the left.
5- at the reception, my hubby did the booty dance with the fuzzy toilet seat we got as a gift
6- the cake my hubby fed me went all over the wall behind me.
I guess that's about it. We could get into the disaster the honeymoon was, but that's a whole other story

The thought of our day brings a smile to my face every time. It was hot and sunny for the only weekend that year (Jul 04), no dramas from anyone to distract from why we were there. All our friends and family together for the first time. I planned the day so much but I couldn't create the brilliant atmosphere we had so that was the special bit really.

I remember the ceremony, which was fantastic! The one thing that always sticks out in my mind was the party afterwards..... my sister in law was taking pictures and my new husband, minister, and I were taking funny pictures.... like Dr. Evil poses and there's this one pose where the minister is "picking" at my husband's face and my husband is dipping me down while I have my hands back in terror, looking like I'm screaming. People LOVE those photos more than our formal photos and it reminds me that we are a fun couple who love each other. Laughter gets us through.
I am a newleywed (June 2006), so maybe I still have stars in my eyes. BUT my husband and I dated for 7 1/2 years before we got married. So I feel like we know each other a lot better than folks who just get married so quickly.
Pictures are worth a thousand words.... my candid wedding photos definately speak volumes!

I remember :
how good every looked all dressed up!!
My maid of honor how awesome she was
how my father in law was an asshole!!
I remeber feeling glad when it was all over!
How good my man looks in a tux probably will never see that happen again for a few years at least!
Most of all I remember how it was worth all the stress and it was well worth the effort!!!

Everyone will give you advice. Someone told me to take a few seconds and pause before I started to walk down the aisle. I thought it sounded silly but I tried it. What a great tip. Stop for a few seconds and look around. Take note of everything. Look you man in the eyes and smile. The time will go past so incredibly fast you need to take those moments to take things in otherwise they day will seem like a total blur.

The two things that stick out most in my mind are.......
1. My husband wouldn't look at me until we said our vows so that he wouldn't cry.....he even had a quivering chin......
2. At the reception, my 6 year old niece asked me what my fave song was and I told her "Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts...she was pretending that she was just wondering and walked away......the next song the dj played was that one and I looked across the room at her and she had the sweetest smile on her face and ran up to me and told me that was why she wanted to know.....it brought tears to my eyes.......

Walking down the aisle under between two rows of pirates with swords crossed over my head; that was cool (we had a pirate-themed wedding.)
