First, you need to find your Windows Installation CD that should have been included with your computer. Put the CD in your CD drive and restart your computer. As your computer restarts, a message will appear; "BOOT FROM THIS CD? PRESS ANY KEY"- press any key. Then you can follow directions from that point.

What you want to do is boot off of the Windows CD rather than your hard drive. This may happen on it's own. Pay attention as the PC boots for messages saying to hit a key to boot from CD. If this doesn;t happen you may need to enter the system bios and tell it to boot from CD first (before floppy or hard drive). Typically you'll see a message when you turn the PC on that will tell you how to get into the Sytem Setup (bios).

Once you boot from the Windows CD it should take you through the setup process which will give options to delete the old version.

Also make sure you have software drivers for you video card, sound card, network card (most important since you can download drivers aff the internet), etc... If you reinstall Windows may not have built in drivers for these things so your video card, sounds card, network card, modem, etc. may not work.

You need to start right from the beginning.
Switch of the computer,(This is a warning, anything you have saved on the computer will be lost doing it this way),Continuously press the F10 key until you get a new screen come up,it should be system recovery, once this has come up you can stop tapping F10,you will be given 3 options, and a description of what each function does.
Select the "System Recovery-Qucik Format" option. This will re-format the hard drive, and re-install Windows back to the factory set default settings.
The recovery should take approx 10 minutes.Once the recovery is complete, you will be prompted to restart your computer.

put ur windows cd in the drive and restart pc
you will see start up from cd . hit enter . from there you can format the hard drive and reset windows back up. you must have ur windows product key to enter in the box when ask to do so . then when all is set back up you have 30days to activate it when 30 days is up then you cant login into the desktop and ur neet to call microstft to have ur windows active over the phone or by the internet . all windows can be fix or erros and clean of trijans virus spyware mailware with out having to format the pc it is really not the way to go format i never do i fix the pc

From what I am reading, you dont know much about PCs! First off, a reformat and reinstall is the last thing you should do! Nextly, from what I gather, you need someone who knows what they are doin! Do you even have a windows system disk?

Windows cannot be deleted like a file. You should get the new copy of windows on a bootable CD and use that CD on your PC to reinstall windows. You may need assistance from a technician to do this. Please feel free to contact our experts on http://www.maincorporated.in/.

fdisk your hard drive and reformat it and reinstall windows and everything else. Back up all your data like music, address book, video and cab files first.
