But, really, your best bet is to hit a gun show or a local shop and get some bulk mil-surplus.

The link below has links to lots of retailers. Careful of the shipping costs though, 45 ACP is heavy. The second link has free shipping on some 45ACP, I'm not particularly recomending them and I better stop clicking links before I end up buying more!

I buy ALL my bulk ammo from cheaperthandirt.com. great prices and really shipping isnt that expensive, i usually buy 5,000 to 10,000 rounds every quarter

I buy most of my ammo from http://www.midwayusa.com sometimes http://www.cheaperthandirt.com but Midway is cheaper on their shipping and they are one of the biggest supporters of the NRA...And, I really like the customer service I receive from Midway..

You could buy reloads at a gunshow but, the quality "could" be suspect..

to be honest...go to wal-mart. I used to work sportinggoods at a wal-mart and we had a local gun range owner who would by ammo from us b/c it was cheaper than his wholesaler. Just give em a look before you decide. good luck
