They're midsize, their heads may come to your knees when they're standing and that's it.
They're great hunting and family dogs. I've never known a beagle that wasn't friends with everything that he/she came into contact with.

I had two 15 inch beagles and they should not weigh more than about 30 pounds max.

They can weigh anywhere from 15 to 30 pounds. And they stand about 12 inches at the shoulders.

there are different types of beagles, 13 inch and 15 inch. Go to the american kennel club website it will tell you everything you need to know..

beagle dogs grow a little big not as big as a lab or as small as a small poodle cause my anut has one it is heavy but it is also fat so if it has good healt it is not very big
