Im getting married Feb 2008 as well.

Even though it is a little over a year away, it is best to start planning with the basics.

Finding locations and information on the places. Preacher? Ideal guest list started. Ideal cateering areas, if any. Floral, if any.

This is all about research and word of mouth, then checking them out.

Put a book together of all information and go over it through out the year with your fiance.

Melissa -
Check the net for bridal shows in your area. Every city has them
a couple times a year. That is the best place to start. They have EVERYTHING that you could possibly need to get ready for a wedding. Also, if you dont want to wait for that go buy a bridal magazine at a local store. They have TONS of thngs to sign up for. You can have invitations sent right to your house.

congratulations & good luck

Huh? Actually, I would not worry about this now, as February 2008 is WELL OVER A YEAR AWAY! And what do you mean get ready? Are you the one getting married? Get ready like everyone else, I guess.

You may want to invest in a wedding planner, he/she will keep you on track. Keep in mind that it is not too early to start booking caterers or venues because they may go up on their prices next year and if you lock it in now, you won't have to worry about spending more later. You can also check out wedding websites like theknot.com, they give good advice. Good Luck!

You have quite a bit of time!! I would start with the ceremony and reception locations...those are the hardest to choose, usually. Don't start on vendors until spring/summer of 07 as most won't book more than 1 year in advance. Congrats!!

you just plan...if you don't have a date then narrow that down, book the chapel and all that other stuff, the sooner that is done the better. February is a very busy month with it being Valentine's Day...pick attendants, find a dress....decide on flowers...

Is it your wedding? Or one you have been (or will be) invited to?

We need a little bit more detail.
