I believe in the after-life, but you're right, this programme is rubbish. Derek Acorah always said that each haunted building was new to him, and it was his first visit. Not true. He was visiting a building in our area...one week before the show was recorded. He's the biggest phoney around and his acting is the only thing worth watching, I laugh my socks off at him. Like when he talks in different tones and pretends to faint cos he was taken over ! He's just so un-believable

Must admit I watched it and thought it was easy to get caught up in, but then I decided what they film,seems pretty staged.
I once saw one of those programs where they show you how you can pretend to be a "psychic", so am aware of some of the "tricks".
That doesn't mean the people who perhaps,instinctively , do this stuff don't "believe" in what they're doing.
If this show is filling a gap for your sister why can't you just let her be?
She must be getting something out of it,don't be so easily annoyed!
( this is easy for me to say as I now have control of the remote: TV tonight is rubbish so music is on!)

PS put some earphones on & listen to your music so you don't have to listen to TV programs that annoy you!

LOL! I'm addicted to it as well...My b/f tells me it's a pile of crap as well, that its just the runners on the set throwing things and stuff, and I do believe him....Untill I start watching it again! God, I'm sad. I like being scared, tho, and I scare easy! I make my b/f come to the toilet with me after, as I'm too scared to go on my own! Lol!

i watched a couple of minutes of it while i was flicking through the channels, i found it hilarious lol a ghost was supposed to have taken over that guys body and he was talking wiv the most ridiculous voice. i just couldn`t stop laughing lol one minute he was talking like an indian chief the next minute he was talking like an american soldier from the civil war. i just can`t believe the guy that was listening was getting emotional lol. if that was me i`d be wetting myself lol

i used to watch it and i thought it was hilarious, Derek Akora is so funny and phoney when he goes into (trance) mode, it is a pile of twoddle but funny too, so tell sis to get real, it's all a pile of nothing...he's making money out of other peoples fears, but the whole show is rubbish, it's rigged and if anyone believes in it, then they are bigger fools than Derek himself...

Why would u want to do that?Most likely she knows..Maybe she chooses to believe because it is fun.I say leave her alone and let her be young and enjoy.Soon she will realize that life isn't want she thinks it is.So let her enjoy while she can.
