"The Pentecostal movement within Evangelical Christianity places special emphasis on the direct personal experience of God through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as shown in the Biblical account of the Day of Pentecost. Pentecostalism is similar to the Charismatic movement, but developed earlier and separated from the mainstream church. Pentscostal is a religion that believes in ONE GOD and that you NEED to be batized in the NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST for the remishon of all your sins and that you WILL recieve the gift of the HOLY GHOST. Read ACTS 2:38.

Go to 1 corinthians 12.......this group considers the spiritual gifts described there, still at work today....while other groups think it was for that time only to get the church started.
examples gift of healing, gift of prophesy, gift of tongues ( other languages) , word of knowledge, word of wisdom.
they also believe in the baptism of the holy spirit, who imparts these gifts to us, like he did 2000 years ago to the apostles.

The press the gifts of the holy spirit,speaking in strange tounges.However if you meet these people on the street, they act like any other asshole.
