I had a different course of chemo than what you did - I had breast cancer. I have been done with chemo for 3 years - I am still fatigued. My doctors told me it was caused by the radiation I received and another treatment that damaged my heart - both of which may cause long term fatigue.
Have you had your heart checked for damage from the treatments? If not, it may be something to look into. If that is ruled out you may want to talk to a different doctor and look into what your best options are for safely building your strength up. If you can start with a light exercise regimen - walking, hand weights, etc. and gradually build up. Speak with a nutritionist about making dietary changes and a homeopath regarding specific supplements aimed at helping your energy levels (I would only add one or two to start with to see if they make a difference for you).

I personally have not been through the experience, but what I do know is your body can get comfortable with or use to almost anything and when you stop something your body has gotten use to it can be come weak, you become ill ( vomitting, too much sleep, not enough sleep, constipation, diarhea, or other. The one way to make your body stronger is drink lots of fluids (WATER) everyday, get plenty of rest (only in the evening), make yourself get up and walk during the day time (even if it is just in your own yard or house). These things can help build your strength alot!

It's going to take a long time to build up strength. Your body has been through quite an ordeal. Start slowly and don't give up. Take short walks. I know you have the energy for much more. Enjoy the fact that you survived, and take it slow.
Best wishes to you!
