I'm asking because from some of the posters here you'd think so. Despite the fact that your people run the news media and business. And the presidency. Your thoughts will be welcome.

no we feel more like a persecuted MAJORITY. most of the US is christian. like over 90%. the 2% atheists run the media and make up the liberal media, they make it seem as though Christians are a minority.

Actually I feel like Christians are a slightly persecuted minority in America. There are a lot of Christians in America, but not a whole lot who will stand up for what they believe. Also, as many Christians as there are there are many more people who aren't Christians in America, otherwise there would still be prayer in schools, abortion would still be illegal, same sex marriages wouldn't be getting legalized. However, American Christians may get ridiculed and made fun of but for the most part we aren't getting killed for our beliefs which is why I say slightly persecuted.

I know how it looks to non-believers but it looks even more different to believer... one of my best friends is a liberal agnostic and he complains about things being "over christianized" and like you says its in the media, business and the presidency. Well it might be a bit more "christianized" that is comfortable for you but I (a Christian) see it over secularized. In businesses, most I know of arent allowed to have "Christmas" parties, they have to have "Holiday" parties so as not to offend. I havent seen a billboard anywhere that says:What Would Jesus Drink? He'd like a cold Pepsi!! have you? Bush SAYS he is a Christian but his actions before and during the presidency show otherwise.

There's a set of billboards near the bridge crossing into this state, about 4 years ago, it had a relgious advertizement on it for a local church, I dont remember what it said but the city took it down claiming to be offensive. I know it didnt say "God hates Atheists" or anything like that but now, it has a big ole Trojan ad? How is advertising a church offensive but not condoms?

I think this country is just riding the fence.. kinda like saying "Believe in God if you want, but not too much and keep it quiet"

all the different religions and atheists stay in peace and are in basic terms attacked by capacity of undesirable christians which reasons all sturdy christians to melancholy on the wear they do! Up till approximately 40 years returned Christianity replaced into thriving and there replaced into no conflict with others yet in in basic terms those few short years the well-known christians have become illiberal, hate crammed, bigoted and persecuting ensuing in a growing to be backlash against christianity and inflicting christianity to loose over ten % in under a decade with the loss accelerating! The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only element which could quit it incredibly is to desert the undesirable human thoughts, seek for to rediscover the belief of a loving god and act like it! yet they know that in spite of the stupid claims for christian numbers that they are the minority! The church homes very own figures teach in basic terms 28% ever attend church in a year. certainly if 28% ever tried to attend church on the comparable day, even working shifts, there is in basic terms no longer adequate church homes! yet count selection the bars - in many places there is extra area interior the bars than the church homes! count selection each and all of the seats in each and every church in a city and study that to the inhabitants and that's quite no longer at risk of realize even 5%! it is genuine genuine interior the process the bible belt and in Salt Lake city!

Sometimes (persecuted)...however, so was Jesus. When they hate us, they hated Him first. So...it's no surprise.

The liberals have a corner on the market of media...and most media put their spin on things.

As for business...I hope Christians are doing well but I don't think we "corner" that market, either.

I am so thankful our President is a Christian! I pray our next one is as well!!!

As long as our country keeps God in it...we will do well.

I don't personally feel this way, no.

Nor do I see large-scale persecution of Christians in the U.S.
