Im planning a wedding for a friend of mine. The wedding will be in Oct of next year. Here is the wedding dress she picked out (its a light Gold dress)

She wants the colors to be neutral and her cake (which she wants to plan her wedding around) is Ivory icing with Chocalate edging. I was thinking about this dress and color for bridesmaids with bright flowers but wasnt sure if the truffle color is too dark or blah. Opinions really appreciated.

Here is the bridesmaid dress:

You have to choose the Truffle color block on the right

Being that her dress is Lt Gold, I think she will blend in with Latte Dresses. She's the Bride, she wants to stand out.. but I'll talk to her about it and the flowers (im afraid if she has ivory flowers there wont be any contrast color)

Actually, I think the truffle color would be perfect if she wants the whole thing to match the cake you described. I also think bright flowers would brighten up the dresses and make for a beautiful fall wedding color scheme. Maybe you could look into getting tiger lilies for the bridesmaids to carry and maybe filling them in with wild goldenrod or something for that fall feeling. That should play off the gowns beautifully.

Her dress is amazing and so is that bridesmaid dress. I think Truffle is a great color that will go along really well with her wedding dress. As long as the flowers are bright you'll be fine. I would do something orange and yellow like gerber daisies. The color would go great against the dress for the bridesmaids.

The truffle color is pretty, but maybe not with the bride's dress...you want the bride to stand out and she might not with the truffle color. Maybe try to see if she would agree with the wine color. That way the bride can have darker flowers that will pop and the bridesmaids can have lighter flowers, that will also pop...you want things to stand out against each other and not blend in too much...hope this helps!

I love the idea of all neutral colours. That is what we did at my wedding, it was so elegant. We used flowers to add a punch of colour. I prefer the latte colour dress over the truffle. It is more elegant. I think it would look nicer with all the ivory colours. Put her dress beside the two colours. The truffle is so dark it will stand out more. With the men being in black tuxes the latte would look nicer. Go to the tux shop and see what colour vests look nicer.

I'm not much on dark colors, but I like the Truffle color. I think it will be very nice and coordinate very well. I don't question the dress color, but I do wonder about bright flowers if she's requesting neutral??

I think the truffle might be a little dark...I agree that it would go well w/ the lt gold gown but might be too stark of a contrast...Do any of the other colors spark your interest?? If you all did decide to go w/ the truffle, I'd opt for cream/ivory colored flowers so that they don't clash w/ anything...

I think the flowers should be colorful somehow - even burgundy, to keep it in mellower colours. Like the bridesmaid dress, but unfortunately, the skirt of the wedding dress reminds me of a dryer vent hose.

why not the latte color it's a very pretty color and neutral enough, and it will go good with the chocolate on the cake....if the flowers are ivory I think the latte color is the best

I'm a wedding coordinator who is actually planning her own wedding right now! I'm considering the same dress, or one similar and the truffle color for the maids...

I love it!

nicely, he's genuine: usually adult men do no longer care on the subject of the marriage making plans. yet in spite of the indisputable fact that many of the marriage they care approximately, i'm to no longer say. some could in basic terms care on the subject of the little info, on a similar time as others do no longer care in any respect. interestingly, it incredibly is the class your fiance falls below. My fiance, on the different hand, seems to in basic terms care on the subject of the great info--the region, venue, customer record, dinner menu, colours, and entertainment source (band, orchestra, DJ, dancers, singers, etc.). Small issues like the centerpieces and flower bouquets do no longer intrigue him. besides, in the journey that your fiance would not like some thing on the subject of the marriage, he could desire to communicate up. You 2 have a real stay marriage coming up quickly and if he's "shy" around you, needless to say he's no longer waiting for marriage. So in basic terms proceed making plans your wedding ceremony and quit pushing him to assert some thing--if he needs to assert some thing, he will. it incredibly is obvious he rather would not care.
