It simple, this is what you do. Have the boy breakup with the friend; if he doesn't breakup with him. Wait four to six months, then have your boy ask you out in public. If your girlfriend get upset that you have started dating, then the friendship is over or it not. Also encorage her to date a other guy within 2 months of her breakup. It will not do for her to pine for the guy and get over as soon as possible. Try to keep it simple the more complex the plan gets the more likely she will find out. Also relationships end and new one begins, recognize your friendship with your friend might be at a end. Also the boy might not be the LTR you want. As you grow you will see friends come and go, it just a matter on how it ends. It the friendship that last a long time that are special. It also goes the same for mates.

My friends Grandma always said boys are a dime a dozen and I have a whole dollar. Your young, you have to look toward the future who is going to be your friend longer like in 5 years. I'm sure you will probably not even remember why you even like that guy in the first place. Ive had tons of boyfriends but my friends are always who comes first. Just follow your heart, then you will know what to do.

This happened to me. in the long run I would have rather had the friend. I ended up not "loving" the guy as much as I thought and we broke up a few months later. I was never able to repair the damage with the friend. Good luck...

i say you only live once, so do whatever you want, either way someone is gonna get hurt, just choose a path and let the chips fall where they may.
you are too young to worry about friend that you might not endup keeping anyways. so just do whatever you will get the most out of

I WOULD RATHER HAVE BOTH AND ITS GOING TO BE HARD TO GET EACH SIDE TO SEE THAT YOU LOVE THEM DEARLY BUT IF THEY LOVE YOU BACK AS MUCH THEN BE WOMAN ENOUGH AND TELL THEM FACE TO FACE UNLESS YOU STRONGLY FEEL LIKE YOU GUYS WILL NEVER EVER BE FRIENDS AGAIN AFTER YOU TELL THEM......YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE BABY.

I would keep the one you've known longest, if that's even still an option.
