You might want to get some stoli raz vodka, that goes well with tonic and sodaand is pretty popular. If you have clear rum, you definitely want to make some mojitos for your clients. They're pretty and they taste good, and the act of making them impresses people. Also, mix the vodka with triple sec, a splash of cran and a dash of lime, shake, serve in martini glasses, this is a standard cosmopolitan. You should also get some nice single malt scotch-- people love it served up or on the rocks. The amaretto can be mixed with sour for an amaretto sour, and the Jack can be mixed with coke OR sour. The white tequila, if not a good quality, should be mixed with tonic (most people wouldn't do that, so it's impressive when they realize how good it is.) The vodka can also be made into martinis (mix w/ vermouth, unless they want it dry, which they probably will. If they ask for a dirty martini, add some olive brine to the vodka and shake.) You need olives, limes (for jack/coke, tequila/tonic, tecate, vodka/cran, cosmo, margaritas), mint and sugar for mojitos, lemons (sour drinks, drinks w/ club soda,) a shaker, glasses, wine (red and white), a muddler ( for mojitos) plenty of ice, and that's all i can think of. Good luck!

You know what? The easiest way I know to make really great mixed drinks is to use rum with fruit juice that is a blend of different flavors--like Five Alive, or orange-tangerine-banana. You get the idea. That's two ingredients and it tastes like a professionally mixed drink. Try it! You'll see.

Go to Wal-Mart. They usually have this drink mixer that has all kinds of different drinks. And it will also tell you the ingredients you will need and how to prepare the drink. And its all right there on the side of the shaker. Have fun.

You might want to hire a bartender for the evening.

Another popular idea right now is to have a martini bar with all the fixings for popular martinis.....recipes on little cards and let the guests mix their own.

OJ, limes, cranberry juice are good to have on hand, too. You have a zillion drinks on hand. The best bartenders I know learned by knowing a few drinks and just saying to someone, "What's that drink? What's in it?"

Mixed drinks? Never. I just get really good wine. That solves it.
