Depends on the nature of their sins. If they've been holding up convenience stores and using the money to buy drugs, yes they should repent. If they have been in a mutually loving relationship with an adult of the same sex, there is no sin, so need to repent.

i'm a lifelong Catholic (there's a thumbs down for effective no remember what I say after this). right this is what my church teaches. Jesus would not threaten, nor does the Catholic church. Threats are no longer of God. God/Jesus want our like to be of our very own loose will.
