I agree with Wego. I too am a Viet-Nam Veteran who is proud of my military service and I found John Kerry to be a disgrace back then and a disgrace now. He compounds his ignorance by refusing to apologize to the members of the military for his arrogant remarks.
I disagree about hie political career however. He and Ted Kennedy represent Massachusetts which is a predominately "lefty" state and they will keep getting reelected as long as they run for office.

John Kerry didn't do anything great in Vietnam. He knew that there was an obscure rule that anyone getting three purple hearts could go home. All of his purple hearts were questionable or faked. The Army brass didn't even know about the rule until he pointed it out to them, cause no one had ever used it. He came back form Vietnam and protested the war. He is a disgrace and a phony.

war hero? Are u kidding? He got shot purposefully by his friends so he could get OUT of Vietnam. He's an absolute disgrace. as for Bush, he did serve in the air force, although he was never in combat, its not like he tried to avoid it.

I disagree that he is a disgrace to the American military. While I may not agree with all of his comments (and I concur that getting elected to office may be difficult for him), I trust that one can still say almost anything one wishes in this country.

actuality, John Kerry represented his united states, replaced into presented medals for his service and could be regarded for doing so. actuality, GWB failed serving his united states, and replaced into no longer presented something close to what Kerry gained. actuality, John Kerry desperate to protest his united states by capacity of tossing his (or somebody else's) medals on the White abode in protest. actuality, GWB replaced into too coked as much as protest. actuality, Barack Obama replaced into too youthful to be enlisted throughout the time of the conflict, and wasn't presented the prospect that Kerry and others had. actuality, John McCain has been presented the Silver celeb, Legion of Berit, popular Flying bypass, Bronze celeb, crimson heart, Meritorious service, Air, military Commendation and numerous different Medals, for his popular service. particular, he did crash 2 planes and replaced into shot down and served as a POW. in spite of the indisputable fact that, this replaced right into a heavily adorned Veteran, who many planned to be a conflict hero. Does this supply McCain an benefit over the others? needless to say, in that particular component of what the Commander in chief is anticipated to accomplish, he outshines the contest. Is he lacking in different factors? effective, Obama has a lot extra effective journey helping the underprivilaged, listening to what people want and attempting to make that take place as a criminal concellor, dealing especially on human rights subject concerns. the two have solid factors to admire from their previous, and should no longer be tarnished using fact of it. the two in spite of the indisputable fact that, will want the great help of an administrative wing to help them with the placement of President, as they do no longer look to be thoroughly versed in each and all of the climate that a President might decide to have. they do no longer look to be acceptable applicants, yet they do exhibit a lot extra helpful values than what we observed in 2004.
