You need to get a life. So far, you've posted about wanting to breed your poor bloodline Goldies, reversing a vasectomy on the male, and giving a sob story about how you cannot afford a dog and plan to have it live outside. You are a sorry excuse for a dog owner and if I knew whereyou lived, I'd call the ASPCA on your butt.

You come on here yelling and screaming at people and you are a child who has no idea of right and wrong. You want to breed dogs so that you can make money with complete and total disregard to their well-being and safety. Your dogs are the ones who end up dumped at shelters and killed by people.

Dozens of people on here have told you that you should not have ANY dogs, much less be allowed to breed them and all you do is tell them to shut up. You don't give a damn about the answer if it doesn't match the answer you want. I feel so sorry for your dog having to live with such a terrible stupid owner.

Your father knows that you are a stupid child and he's right to not let you have more dogs. Go volunteer at the humane society and watch them as they kill dog after dog because of people like you.

I gave you the link to the goldie code of ethics for breeders. You ignored it. I even posted it directly on here for you. You called me stupid and rude. You don't care about anything except the thought of selling puppies and making $200 a dog. Even if you dog dies during whelping, you'll only care because then you'll have to buy a new female to be your wh0re. You have no ethics, no sense of responsibility, and no morals. Get off this idea. You are exactly what the ASPCA and Humane Society wish would shrivel up and disappear.

Or, you are some foolish child who enjoys pretending to be stupid to try and pizz people off. I just can't imagine there are people this stupid in the world who want puppies judt to dump them outside to die.

Well, I have 6 dogs 2 males that stay out back in dogs house and 2 females that stay inside and are potty trained and just recently got 2 new puppies also females. Trying to potty train right now. But having 6wks puppies are just like babies(children) allot of responsibility. And have 3 boys that are old enough to take care of them selves. So its like starting all over again with a new baby. So, my question is to you do you want that responsibility with a new puppy. And really I think its better to get a newer puppy so that the older dog can welcome it. My dogs are doing fine one of the females thinks she the mother. No problems at all. I had to persuade my husband and I got my dog and my little boy got one too. So, talk too your dad again and let him know you did some good reach on the matter and ask him to give you a chance. I wish you luck. Let me know if you do decide you want one and if dad lets you.

Sometimes it is better to have 2 dogs because they keep each other company when you are not around. This cuts down barking and lonely behaviour like destructive chewing.

If you get 2 dogs, then one must be dominant over the other one (and you must be dominant over both). You can reinforce this by greeting the dominant one first and feeding it first so there is no confusion for the dogs. They do get jealous of each other.

You must make sure the dogs know they are at the bottom of the pack, below any of your own family members.

I would think twice about getting 2 dogs of a large breed, thats a lot of dog food! Maybe something medium sized would be better.

If you get a non-neutered dog, you will end up with puppies at some stage. What will be the sex of the second dog? Do you have somewhere secure that you can use to lock away the female dog when she is on heat?

We have 4 dogs, 3 are ours and one is a stray we just took in last week. They all get along fine and we make time to show each of them the proper loving.

But if you are thinking you should be breeding, then you shouldn't be getting a dog. If you really want to breed, take the time, research a breed you really like, and put the money (this includes cost of a good pure breed pair, the cost to train and the cost to properly show the dog... it's NOT cheap) and time in bringing up show quality dogs. Any less than this is only going to add to a problem of overpopulation. I've got a sweet little stray living with us right now, can't believe someone doesn't claim her... don't make more of her by breeding irresponsibly.

I have 2 dogs, a male and a female, they do fight sometimes but not for attention. They both get equal attention from me, and I love them so so so much. They only fight for dominance once in a while. My female is spayed, so I can't really help with the second concern. But as far as the fighting goes, my dogs play much more than they fight. Plus having them together lets them keep eachother company while I'm at work.

Hi...Maybe you could find 2 dogs from the same litter...that way you will know if they get along...watch them play together in the breeders facility (house or whatever). Ask the breeder which 2 doggies are pals. Of course, your Daddy knows you better than I do....maybe you do need to wait for a while. It's a lot of work and dedication with 2 dogs. Especially if you get them as pups!!!
I have 2 dogs and love them both...but they have different needs because they are different breeds....That's why I thought it might be good to go with brother and sister, etc. Another consideration is grooming. Best to pick a breed with low maintenance...
Just my opinion. Judi

In two weeks I am going to pick up my second puppy.... BUT they will both be fixed as soon as they are old enough. Why do you want little baby puppies?? Your dad doesn't even want one other dog why would he want several other ones?? It is very hard to find proper homes for puppies and there are already sooo many out there. Please be responsible and do not add the to problem we already have. So many dogs die each year because of irresponsible owners who either could not find homes for them or just gave up on caring for them. I'm glad at least you have a smart father to teach you some sense!

I agree with your dad...we always have two large dogs and it is a lot of work. one would be so much easier and yes, if one dog gets something the other has to have it. I would never have an unspayed female or a breeding pair. Worrying about other peoples dogs would be a huge hassle. In a few years when you are out on your own...go ahead...give it a try.

1) Not all dogs have jealousy issues, how you train a dog is what is important

2) I agree with your dad, not spaying your pet is irresponsible and it will attract outside males when she is in estrus (heat) Spaying adds years your animals life and prevents certain types of cancer. ALWAYS spay and neuter your pets. Especially because in your earlier post you indicated you plan to keep the dogs outdoors. It is a matter of your responsibility and you sound pretty irresponsible.

3)It's your dads house he has final say, I'm sure your dad (and it sounds like he has) put alot of thought into it.

*EDITED TO ADD**
If you don't know that a female gets spayed not neutered, and you are a teenager, you have no business breeding DUH.

And who is "both"? You said your dad does not want another dog. Get your story straight.

I work in rescue, and I have watched as dog after dog has had to be put to DEATH because there are not enough homes. I wish I could make you watch that! As a poor animal DIES because people don't spay and neuter and want "baby puppies".

People like you make me sick.

What are you going to do with these dogs when you go to college? When you rent a house (Not many rentals will let you have two large dogs)? When you get married? When you have kids? Dogs are a 15-20yr committment. Are you honestly able to provide that?

Why do you want to breed your dogs? Are they show quality dogs? If they are not, then DONT. There are WAY too many homeless animals out there, including purebreds. Go checkout www.petfinder.com for your local area and see how many HUNDREDS of dogs pop up on any given day. MILLIONS of dogs and cats are killed at shelters every year because of people not fixing their pets. Unless your dogs have some amazing bloodline to offer to better their breed, DONT breed them.
