I think if someone male or female has been badly hurt in the past then it is harder for them to take that step only if you do meet someone that you really like it will just take time to build up trust and sorry don't think one night stands are anything to form a relationship with

i think there is nothing wrong with being single if you are not ready for a relationship , but why have meaningless sex instead?
I would rather wait till i WAS ready for another relationship , but at least you find out what people are after by talking to them!!!
Personally i don't waste my time on people who are only after casual sex or a casual relationship , they are welcome to move on and find someone else!

She is not yet ready for a steady relationship and may have been hurt in an earlier relationship and thinks things are getting "heavy" to soon.

You cannot eat your cake and have it mate, if you know she will read your replies and you still went ahead, then you are up for it. Ask her out if it fails, I am afraid, you might want to looke elsewhere

Dont know what her problem may be with that.
Unless ...I dont know....maybe she thought you talked only to her? Maybe she thought your chats are exclusive. That's her problem to deal with. I dont see you did anything wrong. You dont have control over how others react.
