I heard once that the mark of the beast is the upc codes that are now on things?
Can this be true. I mean you cannot buy or sell without it?
Is it written that it has to be a tattoo or is that just wat people think it will be?
I would really like to know what you think.

The Mark Of The Beast? I think it's 666 or something. I'm not really THAT educated about the Devil, but I FEEL like the reason they say that about UPC codes is because people worship material things instead of God. Shopping, etc.

According to the Scriptures, the "mark of the beast" is received on the right hand or forehead. With modern technology, it is very possible that this mark may be directly linked with a computer chip. But regardless if it is or isn't, everyone who is living immediately before the return of Christ will be forced to take this mark in order to buy or sell anything.
He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666" (Rev. 13:16-18).
But this mark, which will be universally issued around the entire world, MUST NOT be received under any circumstances, even by Christians! Scripture goes on to say A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: 'If ANYONE worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of THE SAINTS who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus' " (Rev. 14:9-12).
As the mark will definitely be issued one day, as Scripture declares, the eternal destiny for all who receive that mark will also be in accordance with Scripture! Do not be deceived about this. If you are a Christian, you MUST NOT take this mark or you, too, will miss the kingdom of God and suffer eternal torment over this single act of disobedience, according to Scripture! If the popular teaching of eternal security (also known as the perseverance of the saints) was true, Rev. 14:9-12 would be an impossibility! So don't be deceived by the teaching of eternal security. You must endure to the end to be saved (Matt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11).

It is pure BS. UPC codes are critical to today's marketing procedures, but to suppose that there is anything more to them than that is silly. The whole notion of "mark of the beast" is asinine.

It is just what people think. I believe that it will be something similar to what the Jews were forced to get imprinted in their arms during the Holocaust. All the Bible is clear about is that the Mark of the Beast is 666.

The Mark of the beast is unbelief. Tensions between devil-imspired and empowered atheists and Christians will intensify to the point of that self-worshiping atheists will attempt to starve out the Christians and exterminate them, much like Hitler tried to kill all the Jews. They were marked so that they could not own businesses in the Third Reich, their properties were confiscated, and they were gased. History will repeat itself, but the scapegoats will be Christians in the final holocaust. That's how it will happen.

The mark of the beast will be on your forehead or right hand and without it you will not be able to buy or sell. The Bible does not say exactly what it is.

Honestly - I think that's a little paranoid. I've always been under the impression that the mark of the beast was something a little more spiritual than physical.

No, it's not upc's. The number 6 represents evil or satan. Three 6's represent man because all three parts of him are evil - his mind, his flesh and his spirit. That is unsaved man, not people who have accepted Jesus as their Saviour.

there is a video in youtube that says that the mark of the beast are the verichip and the new chip that is implanted in the brain to control pcs, personally i think thats crazy

The meaning of the numbers is that all people will become a number and not a name. Your SS# is your number, yet it has just started. A chip is being tested, on medical patients, the microchip is the size of a rice.
