How do dogs find their way home ?

Even if the dog has never been somewhere before and there has been heavy rain, how do they find their way home?

Sniff sniff smell smell....They get home to raise hell.

when thay track peoples sent like the person who the dog last sniffed they have there sent so thay will come to them.
