I went to buy some of my Backyard birds some peanuts (No-shell) the store only had Raw Spanish Peanuts. The birds still eat them , but not as fast as regular Peanuts. I am wondering what makes them Spanish?

.Spanish peanuts have the skins left on. They are generally smaller than regular peanuts. You will find them in cans labeled as such, and in peanut brittle.
So, birds like greasy foods, too? I guess so, they like suet, and peanut butter.

Pretty close riversconfluence. They are also used in all kinds of peanut candy, not just peanut brittle. They also come canned as roasted redskin spanish peanuts. For dukalink6000, 'Redskin Peanuts' are still produced, and are not the same as Redskin Spanish Peanuts. I buy them by the can on a weekly basis. (Fisher & Planters)

The difference is Spanish Peanuts speak Spanish & Spanglish and likes Spanish music :) and they also wear sombreros while the regular Peanuts speak Engllish and they are very nutty like George Bush.

Speaking of George, watch some of these videos:

Hi Firehawk:
The difference is the Spanish peanuts where sombreros and like spicy food and the regular peanuts, though tasty are very jealous of the more flamboyant Spanish one!

The are much smaller (almost like a pea) and still have the skin on them.

They used to be called Redskin Peanuts, but that got changed

Spanish are smaller, and usually are sold raw. They are used mostly in peanut brittle.
