it means that HEAVEN IS ON EARTH. however, the word CRAMMED was used to express the idea by exaggerating it since nobody or rather only few men realized this.

with the present turmoils around the world as presented by media, it is so easy to forget that there are still good things happening around us. people tends to dwell on the "bad side" of the world, rather than rejoice on its "good side".

heaven is right there infront of you - your family, your friends, or just your simple acquaintances or total strangers doing small act of kindness which are left unnoticed, and you didn't realize these "pieces of heaven" cramming your world because your thoughts is occupied by the "hells of earth" messing up your life.

That there are alot of blissful things on earth, and some (people) can view bliss as heaven on earth.

To me, I take this quote as that there are alot of blissful things on earth but not heaven for all, just thoes who can see it.... ya know?...

or another view is that (if living [life] the right way) there can be so many positive things on in the world that earth can be seen as crammed with heaven

Earth is full of miraculous and marvelous things if only we take the time to see them. For instance, the wonder of childbirth; no two snowflakes are ever the same; a sunset or sunrise; flowers peeking through the melting snow in early spring; the smell of the ocean; looking at life through a high-powered microscope; the starry night skies; a harvest moon; laughter...love.

Earth is crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God; but only he who sees it takes off his shoes, The rest sit round it and pluck. . .
To me it means that the earth contains heaven, thus the heaven is here on earth, although not everyone can see it.
