Wash your hands w/ detergent, adn while still soapy, rub something stainless steel in your hands. This could be the sink fauct itself, a stainless cooking or eating utensil, or the side of a stainless pot. The SS in conjuction w/ the detergent neutralizes the smell.

rub salt and lemon juice on your hands. The salt ruffs up the skin cells to help remove the layer where the odor is "hiding" and the lemon juice does the rest.
Also try good old bleach and water.

Damp your hands and sprinkle on a little dry mustard powder, rub your hands together - smell all gone!
Very old-fashioned cure, but it really works - forget your stainless steel and lemon juice - try mustard!
