I used a template to create a document that is only two pages long but I am stuck with 3 extra blank pages (because it was a template) and I don't know how to get rid of then. Do you know how I can erase them?

Change the View of the document to Print Layout it is easier to see when pages are deleted. Place the cursor at the end of your last piece of text (or outside the end of the last text box if these have been used) and hold the Delete key until you can see that all the blank pages have been deleted, or your Page Status Bar is showing 2/2 which means Page 2 of 2 pages in total.

Turn on your 'Show/Hide' button from the 'Standard' toolbar and check how the extra page was inserted. You will see lots of paragraph marks if the 'Return' button was used or you will see a dotted line with 'Page Break' in the centre if a 'Page Break' was used. Click at the start of the page following the blank page and from the 'Insert' menu choose 'Break' - 'Continuous'. Now use your delete key to delete the paragraph marks or Page Break on the empty page taking care not to delete the Section Break (Continuous) line. The pages following should not be affected.

Its very easy to delete the extra page. Place your cursor at the bottom of the last page and press Delete, more then once if necessary. I just kept pressing delete when it didn't work the first time and it just disappeared leaving my resume just how I wanted it.

Some people press the backspace key and it works for them, but not for me.. Perhaps it depends on what program your using, If this happens to you try the delete key. I am using Microsoft 2007..

Click on view, normal, check and see if there are any page breaks or section breaks and delete them. If not, you can select the entire doc, format, paragraph, line and page breaks, uncheck widow/orphan, keep lines together, keep with next and page break before.
