I have a cat named Flipper. He loves to play in water and is amazed at watching the toilet flush.

We were visiting a prison last summer when a little kitten came out of nowhere just meowing like crazy. My 3 year old grandaughter ran and picked it up. It let her carry it around all afternoon. When we were leaving, the guards said go ahead and take it, so we did. I thought a long time about his name. We broke a kitty out of the Department Of Corrections, so DOC seemed to be the perfect name. He's very happy now.

Our cat is officially Rum, as he's ginger, so Red Rum, but he also answers to Rubbish, Rublet, Kitten Face and Kitchen (if you're in it with food), our neighbours think he's called Biscuits, cos we shout that to get him in while shaking the pot, they call him the Lion King cos he's Persian with a gorgeous ruff.
My husband's cat is Grog - do we have issues with alcohol?
We've though about getting 2 next time & have thought abour Gollum & Smeagol or Yoda & Paduan, but then you'll alway have an evil/immature cate out of the 2.

have had lots of cats all with interesting names , first one was called nutty as we found her abandoned as a kitten in a nut wood, then there was hughie called after the drunk who lived upstairs. A fter them I grew up A bit and started naming my cats really interesting names i.e. pyowakket ( the name of the cat in bell, book, and candle a very cool film i watched. Or there was tamagotchi ( the cyber pet, as an abandoned kitten was cheaper than the "COOL" toy and also had to be really looked after rather than played with for a little while then forgotten about.
My last cat was called PENFOLD , my son was a big fan of DANGER MOUSE and wanted to call the cat dangermouse.Having talked him round from this idea we named her after D.M.s sidekick

My gran had a female cat called Rover, her and grandpa used to have a dog named that. When old Rover died , a kitten wandered into their kitchen and decided to stay. Gran and Grandpa were so used to calling for the dog , the kitten started to come when Rover was called. She seemed quite happy with the name , so it just stuck. She was 12 when she died .

Captain Worf (needed to outrank me)
Princess Black (because she was)
Baby (because he's the baby)

I have known at one time, 3 from a printshop called Misprint, Mask and Offset; and a set of kittens I fostered named Bubba, Junior, and Hillary (found in Arkansas).

My friend in Iowa named his cat Nosebag - because he'd always wanted to have one called that. His ferret was called Mo Lester, and I'm not gonna tell you why or YAT will hit me with a violation!

We had cats Bert and Ernie, after the Sesame Street two. Unfortunately my Ernie has died = (
Now we just have Bert left who is a girl lol so we say Bertalina is her full name.
I used to have a dog called Darcy, named after Mr Darcy of Pride and Prejudice fame, now our dog is called Daisy, just because it's a cute girlie name.
I had a cat called Baby once too, named after Baby form Dirty Dancing.
Cute story about your daughter crying awww bless = )
