Do a complete disk defragmentation and if it's not enough buy some RAM ( two 512 chips ); you should have about 1 GB for everything to run fast. For games you should a minimum of 1.5 GB RAM.

Dana, other than removing a lot of your programs, about the only thing you can do is to add more SDram Memory inside your machine and/or purchase a faster processor and install it on your motherboard. You can also go to www.google.com and in the search box, type in Registry Cleaner and it will take you to page after page of programs that will clean the registry files which will also speed up the machine a bit. Great Question, Larry RadioShack

several things could help (1) add more memory - if ther are no corupt files or viruses thais will solve your problem. (2) back up all systems and reformat your hard drive then reinstall al you software again. This is the ost time consumming but it is ablolutely the best way.

i do no longer think of your computing gadget is contaminated with a pandemic. the priority could be which you have low memmory on your computing gadget that would reason your computing gadget to run slowly. I recommand reinstalling residing house windows or removing better courses (and so on.) out of your equipment.

Are you using any anti-spy or anti-virus software? What type of ISP do you have? Dial-up or high-speed?
