A'm a Geordie, born in the aad workhoose, near the banks of the Tyne, Aa cannot git much more Geordie than that.
Mind, thor had torned inte a maternal hospital.
Aa love the places, an love poppin back up te visit.

I met somebody from Northumberland once.

At least I think he was from Northumberland. He was running at the time.

Going south he was.

I live in Brighton.
You can't get much more south than that in England.

But did that stop this man from Northumberland?
Noooo, of course not.
He just kept on going.

Last thing we ever saw of him was a a silly Newcastle hat with a pom pom on the top.

But, who can blame him?
