Nothing to me is a sin.
"Sin" is a made-up construct for religious people, something that's "against god or his will." Since I don't believe in god, I can't do anything against him or his will (he doesn't exist) -- therefore there is no sin for me.
There *is* right and wrong, which for me are a combination of secular law, society's values, and my own values...but those have nothing to do with sin. Even if I do something wrong, I'm not sinning. See, there really *are* people with no sin -- me! :)

Jesus said: "do unto others what you would like them to do unto you" so if you do something to other people you don't want them to do to you that's a sin.
There is lots of ways it says that in the bible: You dig a pit you will fall into it. Etc. Etc.
We have a verse that says what goes around comes around. or
Be careful what you do you might not like it when it comes back.

sri.Jayasri devi Dasi says in answer to this question:-
"According to the Vedas there are 4 pillars of sin
Source(s):
Bhagavad-Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
My (ssrvj)answer is-Bhakthivedhanta Prabhupaada's interpretation of sri Bhagavad Gita (as followed by his disciples of ISCON movent) is biased in favour of Dualism (Dwaitham).His criticism of Acharya sri Sankar and his philosophy of Non-Dualism(Adwaitham) is un-warrented,un-called for and very mean.sri.Acharya S is an intellectual collossus of gargantuan dimentions.

According to Vedas sins are 5(Panca Maha Paadhakam)
