Being a reflection of society, your Military is a mixture of Democrats, Republicans and Independants. Soldiers are concerned about their safety, their pocketbooks, and the security of their families. Republicans traditionally fund the military more, i.e...bigger paychecks, but I wouldn't even begin to say we are mostly Republican. As a matter of fact, I just took a poll in my office of 12...It's an even split!

the majority are Republican. Liberals don't believe national security isn't a big deal. They would rather have all the soldiers planting trees. The military is mixed, and we should be gratefull for all the soldiers, the dems and the repubs.

You will find a mix through out the military. The reason you hear most of them voting Republican is because it benefits us. Usually when someone from the Democratic party gets into office we get hit as far as less pay raises and so on.

In 2000, the military was voting 92% Republican.
That's why Gore sued to keep military votes from being counted in FL.
Democrats in PA also had it rigged so military votes wouldn't count. But I think PA got that stopped.
Not many Democrats would fight for their country. A few do. Not many.
