It depends on maturity and interests. SOme 18 yoear olds have mental and emotional maturity, even while they lack some of the life experiences that are gained through this period. And some 24 yr olds may lack the same maturity, so you want the maturity to match. But the other side of the issue is interests. Is the guy gonna want to spend time with friends in bars. That could be a huge problem. There is alot of temptation when one partner spends alot of bar time without the other.

You're both legal, consenting adults. I am 24 and my fiance just turned 30. Same gap.

However, I should point out that I am NOWHERE NEAR what I was like when I was 18. So I hope for your sake that your either wise beyond your years or he's a little on the immature side. It is not illegal though.

No healthy person of 24 is interested in a baby of 18. Latter in life it does not matter, for right now it just shows they are not mature enough to be with a real woman.

No. My son is 24 and his girlfriend is 18 and he's really happy. As long as the two of you are happy then the gap is not too big.

No, the age gap isn't too big. Because, honestly he is the same age as you are. Girl are more mature then guys. At least by 5 years.

No i dont think that age gap is big at all...its 6 years and that the diffrent with my parents. Listen you are an adult now the age shouldnt be an issue its the relationship that counts. Me and my fiancee are 4 years and you dont even realize the age difference as long as no one talks down to one another or treats you diffrently because they know they are older.

Sweetie, what you really need in a relationship is maturity. It takes males longer to get there than females, so I disagree what others will tell you, I think the age difference is perfect. Good luck.

age is only a number when it comes to relationships . what you need to find out is if you guys are in to the same things and have the same interest . if you feel in your heart that this is who you want to be with then do it. but no its not that big of a gap

I am 24 and as much as I would LOVE to take advantage of an 18 years old hottie I don't believe I morally could. You should stick to someone close to your age for now. I know what he is after.
