If God is LOVE then why are there so many hurt, pain and hatred in this World? If God is LOVE as some proclaim him to be, then why is the heart of LOVE hardened in so many ways? Would it be a fair statement to say God is loving and not LOVE?

The Father; Son and the Holy Spirit, the Holy TRINITY as they are called have most often times preached Love and Peace; man has used the words of the bible to preach hate and war. It becomes hard to know what is right from what is wrong. I watch each day as the world around us rebels against the way we use her; the weather grows more harsh each day; unknown deceases are a plague to its populace; the rich, who idolize the false Gods of money, gold and riches care not a wit for anyone, not even their own children. You can't take it with you; you can never spend it all; your offspring will resent you for having it; it breeds disdain for all others who have less. What good are it if it cannot bring about Peace; Love and end to all things destructive? Is mankind so "Stupid" they would walk, with eyes wide open into their own destruction; at the moment I think the answer is YES!
We turn to god for answers, and get no reply. The reply was given so long ago that we still haven't heard it - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you; Love thy brother as you would love thyself. Angels come in many colors as the species of man - for it was in our image that you were created. If you don't believe, read Genesis for yourself. It is always best when one reads for oneself, and takes the mean to his or her own heart. Interpretation is the sister to all F#*K ups. We all hear someone else's interpretatio0n of the bible, yet few of us have pick the book up for ourselves and read the words. All mankind are human, and are prone to error. There is no other species on this planet, other than human who is biased against its own race; whether by color, culture, ethnicity, ever tearing the canvas of life apart for wealth. To Love is to be touched by GOD, all other ailments are a loss of feeling!

God is indeed love as 1 John 4:8 states
here are some reasons why the world is like it is:
'So down the great dragon... called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth' Revelation 12:9
'We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.' 1 John 5:19
'time and unforeseen occurrence' Ecclesiastes 9:11.
'But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here' 2 Timothy 3:1
'Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap' Galatians 6:7
here is another scripture:

God is Love. All the pain and hurt in the world, that's not Love. Why are you confused? If your heart is hardened, it's not Love that made it hard, maybe a lack of Love.

Man when the bible says that they are blinded from the truth that is the truth. God is love Satan is the ruler of this world at the moment. That is why things are so bad right now he knows he has a short time left and he is doing his best to make God look like the bad one. In the bible it says that when Jesus threw satan out of heaven God said Wow to the earth because satan meant bad news for the earth. That is his goal to make God look bad and to cause us as much trouble as he can. And he is doing a good job at it. If you want to know the truth just pray and ask God to show you the truth and wait if it is in your heart he will guide you You have to have faith that if you ask he will help. Just try it what have you got to lose.

Yes, God is Love.
People make their own hells. People make their own misery; pain, hatred - not God. If the heart of Love appears to be hardened to you then you are blocking Gods presence in your own experience.
Humanity is the the author of God. Truth is Truth regardless of our attachment to what we think God is, or is not. Just because we don't understand a situation in life does not mean that God is not present.
God does not create war, men do.
God does not create mans suffering, man does.
God is a force of love in this world it the individuals choice to recognize that presence or not.

The bible tells us"God is love". You ask why so many hurt pained people etc. that is not God's doing that is a result of sin which entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and did what they were told not to do. Since then sin is in the world and that is why we have death and pain and suffering. We are all born of a sinful nature ( because of Adam and Eve's disobedience) but because of what Christ did on the cross all can be forgiven for their sins by accepting Him as their Lord and Saviour and making Him the Lord of their life.

God is love. But...
we live in a very fallen world. We are all subject to the world and its pain and suffering. We are also tendered to be a light unto which those may find God. It all goes back to when sin entered the world. We made this decision and must live with it. God just helps us make it through.

Because people have lost thier connection with God, and taught they are seperate from Him. Do you call yourself love? Or god? No. We are taught the only way to God is through a church, through Jesus, through paying 10% of yout income, etc. We are not seperate from him, but we believe that we are.
Love is just the closest word we have to understanding what God is.

"God is Love" means God knows us only as God created us; it was we who chose to go it alone, to live as if separate from our perfectly loving Father. Nothing in what we call "the world" has, nor can, do any harm to us, in our true state. Love (loving thoughts) are the world's only reality. We remain as created. God is Love.

Love is God's main quality. Who said that god causes people to die, or that he causes natural disasters, or causes pain? He doesn't, Satan does.
So, then why does he allow this?
Well, Jehovah knows and told us that we are living in a system in which Satan rules. So, if Jehovah (God's name) fixed everything, and there were no pain, hurt or natural disasters, it would seem as if Satan's government. And althought Jehovah may ALLOW these things to happen, he can give us strength and faith to endure them.
