Not everyone has a full set of wisdom teeth. The problem is when the wisdom teeth try to come in and there is no room for them without making your other teeth go out of alignment. If you are in no pain, then they are not impacted. Just consider yourself one of the lucky ones.

No, if they are not hurting or causing problems then don't worry. I was 36 before my wisdom teeth came in, then they started causing problems. An old wives tale says, "your life is half over when your wisdom teeth come in", so consider yourself lucky.

Only if you're having pain and swelling in your jaw area should you be concerned with impaction. There are people out there that just don't ever form wisdom teeth.

When they become impacted, they are infected and there is PAIN!!! Yours may be laying down along your gums under the teeth and not affect you at all. Mine were, but I had to get them out because they made my teeth crooked. Check by having dental x-rays. A good dentist will show them to you. Good luck!

My husband is 58 and he never got his "wisdom" teeth or his adult inscisors either......so I would not worry unless you get pain...or your dentist tells you by xrays you have a problem

I wouldn't worry about it. I am 27 and haven't had mine out yet. Talk to your dentist about it the next time you are there.

Shared secret is right, even if the logic is way off. Some people just don't get them at all anymore. Evolution at work. Your dentist can tell you if you have them.
