There's a guy at school that I really wanted to go to this school dance with,..................but I found out he's takin another girl 2day. As soon as I heard my heart sunk so low!!! I didn't know I could feel so down!!! Now I don't even want to go. Everyone's got a date except for me!!! And there's no way I'mma step up in there all lonely!!! Should i still go or is it just a waist of time?

Go to the dance and show him that you don't need him to have a good time. It will make you feel better knowing that you didn't miss out on a dance just because you didn't have a date.

Dances are fun! There's no point in ruining a chance to have a good time because of a boy. Sounds like a junior high dance to me... cause those ones were akward & there was lots of pressure. Just have fun! It's what your young years are for

I think you should go. I am sure there are other people who don't have dates. Maybe their will be some friends to dance with. It is a good way to meet people. It doesn't necessarily have to be boyfriend material. You could meet some real cool people both boys and girls that you can just have fun with.

You know what, be independent. Go, and have fun, or even put on a front. That is very liberating. To know that you can still go stag and not feel bad about it is something to be proud of. Especially in school when it is hard to be yourself. Go, look hot, and have fun.

You should still go. Because, everybody there won't have a date.
