tell her that it is her buisness and that you would rather not be involved. Just make sure she does this in a private room.

Wow, um I'd probably fall off my chair. First of all, 13? wow. Second of all, why did she feel the need to tell you this? I would assume most people who wanted to do it would just do it themselves you know? Maybe shes asking for attention or something. I recommend that you sit and talk with her - maybe she thinks 'everyone' is doing it and it makes her grown up or something. I suppose it also depends how you personally feel about this topic - some parents may encourage it while others may completely freak out.

You need respond with something positive and healthy. I would tell her it is natural. Make sure she understands hygiene related issues and that it is a private matter (ie; not to take place in the living room) Be approachable even if you dont have all of the answers right away. Keep the communication open. Being shocked, disgusted or condescending will only push her away.

okay, NOW IS THE TIME TO TALK TO HER ABOUT SEX. she's growing into a young woman and she needs to know that it's wrong. Teenagers go through hormonal changes. It's a sin. Period. Tell her if she starts experimenting with things like that, it will lead to premarital sex, pregnancy, stds, and too much drama she doesn't need to deal with at this age. BE HER MOM AND BE ALL UP IN HER BUSINESS. You are still responsible for her and if you don't say anything about it now, You will not of done your job as a mother that is supposed to lead your children in the right direction.

I don't know how I would re-act to be honest with you. I have a ten year old and it would be a huge blow to me, but you can at least look at the bright side, she was honest with you. Most 13 year olds won't talk about things like that with their parents. I know that for kids to "get to know their parts" is natural though. Tough question.

No normal child of this age would make a point of discussing something as private as this with a parent unless they were seeking attention. I'd be afraid that my child was being molested quite frankly.

let her do it its natural. don't go buy her stimulaters or dildos or vibraters but let the girl do it. would you rather have her libido(itchy need stimulation feeling in your sex organs) dancing around while shes gion to school. or would you rather have her seek out guys to do it for her. Just tell her that its natural and to keep it private and that shes normal.

I would tell her, I really didn't need to know that. But now that I know, keep your door locked.
