They dont. It's a myth. Yesturday the hostory channel had a special. They said in reality, no one reported having razorbaleds in with candies, and the kids who were poisened werent poisoned by cany, but by family members instead. I was shocked when i read that.

They really don't, at least it is much, much, less common thatn you've heard - this razor blades in the candy and drugged apples and such is an urban legend. There have been isolated cases of harmful objects in candy; these were connected with marital/custody disputes, in other words not random acts of sick violence. Go ahead and trick or treat.

LisaT is sooooo right.
There are NO documented cases of strangers handing out altered candy.
Every time (and they are few and far between) it has been a person directly related to the children who received the candy.
As with most tales of danger, you have to look farther to find reality.
