Well, it depends on what your extreme need is. If it is for a house, you could always try hard money lending, very expensive because of high interest rates. Otherwise, you can try to improve your credit by going to annualcreditreport.com and looking at your credit reports. Find out what is making your credit score so bad, and try and pay off some of the debts that are reflecting badly on your credit. That right there will boost your credit score. And make sure everything is being reported correctly........If it isn't dispute it..........And if you need help on dealing with creditors, visit the link below for the FTC

Go to http://www.myfico.com/ and find out why you have a poor credit score. They have a 30 day free trial.
Stay away from new credit cards until you fix the bad stuff. Don't pay someone to dispute your credit. You can do it yourself on the site. Dispute by fax myfico has a form on their site. If you have credit cards pay them down as much as you can, and make sure you pay everything on time and your score will get better every month.
Do get a credit card if you don't have any credit. You may need to get a pre-paid at first, just make sure you use one that reports to all three credit (experian, transunion, and equfax).
