New York is very cold in December so bring sweaters, coat, scarf, hat, gloves, and boots. Dress in layers. People in New York walk alot. By dressing in layers you'll feel more comfortable and can remove something if you get overheated. You can check out www.weather.com when it gets closer to your trip for a forecast before you leave. It is cold here in December so bring warm clothes and dress accordingly. NYC is generally a bit warmer due to the skyscrapers and what have you, but it can still get very cold there as well without notice. We have had snow storms and zero degree weather in December many times!

Check the weather and forecast for the time you will be there, take plenty of sweaters, and jeans, a fur if you have it and leather is a must, also make sure you have hats, scarves, and gloves it gets really cold and windy there, have a blast!!!.

Comfortable shoes or lots of cash for taxis! Warm clothing. Wind tunnels in between skyscrapers can make it very cold and unpleasant! Dress for comfort!! Have fun. I have been there and loved it!!

it will likeley be cold, but with this crazy weather who knows. Dress in layers so in case you get warm you can take one off. if you are doing alot of walking, bring comfortable shoes (thats a must have). also, something to cover the ears. the wind can be brutal. enjoy your visit

It's very cold there, and wet cold. Sweaters, scarfs, gloves, boots, coats with hoodie, rain coats. Or you can just buy them there.
