I have had this friend since I was in the 5th grade, I am now 28 and he moved away and I went out to live with him for about 6 months and heard some crazy things about him from his friends out there. First of all...girls that he dated were absolutely beautiful and he is VERY good looking, and they broke up with him for not sleeping with them. Mind you...he is a bar tender at a hot club! Now... he gets OVER excited when his "friend" stops by to see him, let's just call his friend "Jon". And by over excited, I mean he literally jumped over my head while sitting on a couch to get to the door to see if his "friend" drove by, and doesnt even think twice about sleeping with any girl he has dated. And this being confirmed by ALL his guy friends and ex-girlfriends since he moved there! I don't know...I JUST NEED TO KNOW! He is such a close friend of mine and he won't even talk about it. Does anyone have an opinion?

If you are a real friend, why would it matter to you wether he's gay or not?
It's none of your damn bussiness. If he is gay and wants to come out, he will.
Worry about the friendship, not his sexuality.

Does it really matter if he is gay??? If he is, or is not since he is your friend... you should be there for him. Since you have known his so long and he has yet to tell you maybe he is not or he is not sure. When he is ready to let you know. He will tell you. He may even just be a virgin thats why he doesnt sleep with the girls he goes out with. THere are many factors maybe the guy Jon owed him money I dont know. If you really want to know his sexual preference just ask him when you too are alone and ensure him that he can trust you with the truth. Cus he may not be ready to let the world know. He may also have problems with having sex cus he may have been molested. Maybe thats why he doesnt want to talk about it. Sounds like your friend is confused and he know everyone is talking about him. He really sounds like he needs someone to trust. Not people who want to gossip about him. Be there for him he is your friend

If you guys are such great friends then he would understand if you ask him. Tell him you heard some things and you came to him because you want to know the truth. Trust me he would feel better if he comes out anyway and if he isn't gay tell him his friends suck and he needs to get a new batch! Good luck!

I think that he is giving you suble hints, but it is a hard thing to admit this to your friend from the past however close of your orientation, and who knows maybe he is Bi. As far as not sleeping with these ladies does not warrent suspicion, as there are sooo many stds' out there, it is just too risky for casual sex. I think in time, when the time is right, he"ll tell you. NO WORRIES O.K.

I have a gay friend. We suspected that he was gay because he hung out almost exclusively with girls and let us openly flirt with him for no reason, but he eventually let fly with the truth. Now he's my gay boyfriend, and we're very happy together.

umm i cant tell u if u best friend is gay but if he aint sleep wit a hot gurl then his mind aint straight cuz all guys want is sex anyway but if he really nice then maybe he just wants to know them before he makes luv wit em

the main way to tell if someone is gay is if they are sexually attracted to people of the same sex.
but why do you care? he is still the same person, gay or not.
