I get dizzy and lightheaded as well. My problem is low blood pressure and low blood volume.

How is his blood pressure? Next time he gets these feelings, take his blood pressure. If it is really low, than he needs to drink gatorade and get more sodium in his diet. He also can't let himself get hungry, because that drops his blood pressure.

He also has to get enough sleep, as that sets some people off as well.

Hope this helps!

If your husband is in his 40-50's he should have a cardiology check up, especially if he is getting vertigo or dizziness. these can be symptoms of heart problems. If he is younger, and he has a family history of heart attack or stroke, he should still be checked out.
There are many reasons why a person can get dizzy. It can be due to low blood pressure, neurologic problems or an inner ear problem or chronic ear infections. Make sure your husband gets a complete neurologic work-up including assessing his balance, coordination and gait (walking ability). Then he needs an exam of his inner ear and sinuses. If everything is negative, then he may have what is called vestibular dysfunction, a neurologic condition of the inner ear (the vestibular canals are involved in balance) He may have to visit a few more doctors, but this is not a normal finding and all possible causes should be ruled out. An x-ray or CT scan of the head may not be a bad idea either.

I don't know what's causing this, but I'll bet you he will find a way to try to convince you that sex provides relief from his symptoms.
