I HAVE AN OVER ROASTER IF... THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE ASKING HERE. You should have a guide there. mine does. I think it's somewhere around 350 degrees and IT TAKES SEVERAL HOURS FOR THAT TURKEY TO COOK IT GOES BY THE POUND., YOU WILL HAVE TO LOOK AT THE PACKAGE ON THE TURKEY . I HAVE JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT IF you put the TURKEY ON IT'S SIDE DOWN IT WILL TURN SO MUCH BETTER AND MUCH MORE MOIST THAN IF TURNED STRAIGHT UP NORMALLY .

I slather margarine all over the turkey, then I use McCormick Turkey Rub. I cover it loosely with foil, and I turn the roaster to 325 degrees. Take the foil off later, when you think the turkey looks pretty good, so it can finish browning.
