Is this really for an essay? If not, get yourself to a doctor right now. Even if you weren't to feel pain, what about those family and friends who love you and would blame themselves. They would carry the pain for the rest of THEIR lives. I know of a couple of families from the area in which I live who has has a family member commit suicide, and the pain of that is something they will never recover from and they blame themselves, "Oh, I wish I had of done something," or "I should have known something was wrong."
Here's an idea: Speak to a family who has has a child/mother/brother/father/sister commit the unthinkable, and then you may realise that there is never such a thing as a "Painless Suicide." Also, please consider the fact that there have been people out there who have died through no fault of their own. Whether it be an accident or illness. They would have given anything to have the choice as to whether they could live or die. And this hits me particularly hard, because tomorrow is the 6th anniversary that my best-friend, the kindest, funniest, most caring person in the world passed away in an accident. And it makes me mad to think that healthy people take life for granted, when people who we love are taken from us everyday.

I seriously hope this is an essay question. If not you need to follow the advice of the guy who told you to call for help. Think of all the pain you would leave every one else in. Nothing and I mean nothing is bad enough for you or anyone to ever take there own life.

well sug i aint buying the whole essay bull, sweetie you need to look at why or what is causing you to give up on life and reach out for some help, i think you have already started by saying something on here, i cant take away the hurt or pain but i can help you get help and that is what you need sugar

I think there is no death without pain.
Pain is one of our exam task before leaving the Big School.
I suppose the rare cases when somebody dies in real peace seemingly with no pain is either a reward for how he/she lived, or it is not painless, just a lack of the chance of telling anyone.
And suicide ... I think it HAS to be painful, because it's not a peaceful act. You have to say good-bye to those you once loved, and if you're unable to or unwilling to it gives you pain. And the feeling of guilt that you cause others pain gives you more pain.
But the pain you experience in your life has another meaning: it gives you dignity. We all have to learn in our lives that there is a greater power than us. Humility will give us the dignity and if we want to find the easy way it will lead us to a dead end. Trying to find a painless way of suicide seems to me like wanting to find the easy way. Pain and death are the most democratic things in the universe. The path is there for each of us to tread.
